Privacy Policy — Hablita
Last updated 13 August 2026 · Lolo Studios
The short version: Hablita has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no servers of ours. Everything you do in the app — your settings, your streak, which verbs you've answered — is stored on your device and never leaves it.
What we collect
Nothing. We do not operate a server that Hablita talks to, we do not ask for your name or email, and we do not include any analytics or crash-reporting service. There is no advertising in the app and no advertising identifier is read.
What the app stores on your device
- Your settings — tenses, verb range, pronouns, daily goal, theme, reminder time.
- Your practice history — how many times you've answered each verb and how often you got it right, which is what drives the progress screen and which cards come back.
- Whether you have unlocked Hablita Pro.
This data lives in the app's own private storage. Deleting the app removes all of it. We have no copy and no way to retrieve it.
Purchases
Hablita Pro is a single one-time purchase, processed by Google Play Billing on Android and by Apple's App Store on iOS. We never see or store your payment details — the store handles all of it. The app asks the store whether you own the purchase so it can unlock Pro after a reinstall or on a new device. We do not use a third-party subscription service.
Notifications
The daily reminder is optional and off until you turn it on. It is scheduled entirely on your device by the operating system — nothing is sent from us, and we are not told whether you opened it. You can turn it off in the app or in your device's notification settings.
Read-aloud
Tapping the speaker icon hands the word or sentence to your device's own text-to-speech engine — Google's on Android, Apple's on iOS. Depending on the voice you have installed, that engine may process the text on the device or through its own service, under that provider's privacy policy. Hablita sends it nothing else, and no part of your practice history is involved.
Children
Hablita is a general-audience study tool. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
